Since 1986, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Pittsburgh has been providing local, limited-income residents with decent, affordable homeownership. Habitat Pittsburgh is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a global organization serving over 70 countries and 1,400 communities across the United States. Homeownership

For more than 30 years, Habitat Pittsburgh has provided homeownership to local, limited-income families. We are an equal-opportunity housing provider that works with anyone who meets our three basic criteria (learn more about those here). Habitat Pittsburgh homeowners include single mothers, veterans, refugees, individuals living with disabilities, and other vulnerable populations.
Home Repair

In 2013, Habitat Pittsburgh expanded its services to include affordable home repairs for families who already own their home. This program includes exterior repairs and landscaping; critical home repairs alleviating serious health and safety concerns; weatherization services; and energy efficiency upgrades. Habitat Pittsburgh also works as PHFA’s Local Service Administrator to provide residents with energy efficiency upgrades.
